Got up at 5 o’clock and commenced work at 6. Busy all day and very sleepy. Went to Roker at night with Ernie and listened to the band of the Terriers¹ and watched the crowd for a bit. Met Charlie and Dora. Got home about 10 o’clock. Fine night.
