Up about 7.30. Billy Truman, Murray and I went up to walking wounded post at Trescault¹. Found Sergeant Powell there. Very busy all day and had a lot of men to look after. Ben Jenkins and Carmichael there too. Worked until late. Unsatisfactory job. Sent for more men.
