At Clayport Church in the morning and evening. Sharpley with me at night. Had short walk in the afternoon.

On parade in the morning. In town in the afternoon with Black. Stayed in the orderly room at night to look after the telephone for Salisbury. Miss McGill¹ and Cunningham came “in” and bothered me. Typed a letter to Betty and to Willie Wanless and to Charlie.

On parade as usual. Received letter from Franchie Inwood re-addressed from home. A bit worried about the tone of it and my doings up High House way¹. Commenced letter back. Stayed in at night and read.

Snow lying pretty thickly. At church in the morning. Walked up the road with Sharpley in the afternoon and at church at night. Mr Don preaching in the morning but another chap at night. Walked up to High House at night with Sharpley, and the two sisters.
